A Chinese Export Porcelain "Apricot" Urn And Cover
Early 19th Century
with a figural knop on urn with floriform handles and reserve with a country house in a hilly and tree-filled landscape.
Height 17 3/4 inches.
Condition
The gilding and enamels with some minor rubbing and losses as expected with age and handling. A few chips and losses to the edges of the floriform handles. A discolored repair to one anthemion towards the base of the urn above the socle. Adhesive residue to the interior of the neck apparently the only fluorescence under UV light.
